Cold weather seems to be returning once again in most of the states of the country. The Meteorological Department has said that due to western disturbance, there may be heavy rain in many states today. Talking about the weather of Delhi, it has been raining here for the last 2 days. According to the Meteorological Department, more fog will be seen in Delhi for the next two days. The sky will be partly cloudy on Monday. The sky will clear after Monday.
Due to the western disturbance in North India, there has been rain in many states of the country. On Monday, there may be rain at isolated places in Palamu division and central part of Jharkhand. The forecast is cloudy. There are chances of cloudy sky in the capital Ranchi on Monday. There may also be sporadic rain at some places. On Tuesday, its greater impact can be seen in the capital Ranchi and surrounding districts. The weather center has predicted that its effect may also be seen in some parts of Kolhan and Santal Pargana on Tuesday. This will increase the minimum temperature. The maximum temperature may also fall. If the difference between maximum and minimum temperatures is less then the feeling of cold can also be more.
There are chances of light rain in some parts of South Bihar on Monday. There is also a possibility of thunder and thunder at some places. IMD has issued a yellow alert regarding this. According to IMD, there may be rain in South, West, South-Central and South-East Bihar. There is a possibility of light rain especially in areas like Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, Sheikhpura, Nawada, Begusarai, Jehanabad, Lakhisarai, Buxar, Bhojpur, Bhabua, Rohtas, Bhagalpur, Banka, Jamui, Khagaria etc.
The Meteorological Department had predicted rain, hail and lightning in many parts of UP on February 4 and 5. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of rain along with hail in Mathura, Agra, Meerut, Prayagraj and surrounding areas on Monday also. There may be rain in the capital Lucknow, Barabanki, Sitapur, Varanasi and surrounding areas.
Due to fresh snowfall in the higher reaches of Uttarakhand and rain in the lower areas, the entire state is in the grip of severe cold. There has been snowfall in Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, Yamunotri, Hemkund and Auli. Rain continues at many places in the state including Dehradun. The cold has increased due to snowfall in the higher areas and rain in the lower areas.
According to Skymet Weather, there are chances of light to moderate rain and snowfall along with heavy rain at one or two places in the Western Himalayas during the next 24 hours. At the same time, light to moderate rain can be seen in some parts of Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Rajasthan, North Madhya Pradesh and Bihar.
According to Skymet Weather, there may be light rain and snowfall in Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh. Whereas light rain is possible in eastern Assam.
