Weather Forecast Rajasthan: A period of rain can be seen in Rajasthan. In the coming days, light to moderate rain may occur in many parts of the state. Jaipur Meteorological Center has given information in this regard. According to the Meteorological Center, Jaipur, the area of low pressure is formed over the North-West Bay of Bengal and West Bengal, Odisha coast. It is likely to move towards North Odisha-Chhattisgarh in the next 2-3 days. Due to the effect of the above system, there is a strong possibility of active monsoon and increase in rain activities in some parts of Kota, Udaipur, Bharatpur, Jaipur and Ajmer divisions of eastern Rajasthan for the next three to four days.
Due to this, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder in some parts of Kota, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Udaipur and Ajmer divisions on August 19-20. Rain activities are likely to continue in some parts of Dholpur, Bharatpur and Jaipur divisions on August 21. On the other hand, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder at some places on August 19 to 21 in Jodhpur, Bikaner division except the border areas of western Rajasthan. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder in some parts of Kota, Bharatpur, Jaipur division and Shekhawati region.

According to Skymet Weather, the area of low pressure is over northwest Bay of Bengal and adjoining parts of West Bengal and North Odisha. The western end of the Monsoon trough is running close to the foothills of the Himalayas and the eastern end is passing through Bahraich, Patna, Dhanbad and Digha, and then reaching the center of the low pressure area over northwest Bay of Bengal.
According to Skymet Weather, during the next 24 hours, there is a possibility of light to moderate rain with heavy rain at a few places over Odisha, Chhattisgarh, East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Marathwada and North Telangana. On the other hand, light to moderate rains may occur over Northeast India, West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Konkan and Goa, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka and Sikkim. Light rain is likely at one or two places over Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Madhya Maharashtra, South Gujarat and Kerala, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, North Punjab, Haryana and East Rajasthan.

The Meteorological Office said that a low pressure area is active over the Bay of North West Bengal adjoining Odisha and West Bengal. This system is likely to move in west-northwest direction towards North Odisha-North Chhattisgarh in the next two to three days. According to IMD, there may be heavy rains (7 to 11 cm) at one or two places in Odisha’s Gajapati, Ganjam, Raigarh, Khurda, Puri, Nayagarh, Sonepur, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Jharsuguda and Sundergarh. Landslides have also been warned in some hilly areas.
The Meteorological Office has forecast that heavy rain will occur in Mayurbhanj, Bhadrak, Balasore, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Nayagarh, Dhenkanal, Angul, Jajpur, Keonjhar, Khurda, Cuttack, Puri, Ganjam, Gajapati, Koraput, Raigarh, Kalahandi and Kandhamal districts of Odisha.
