Low pressure area forming over Bay of Bengal

The area of cyclonic winds over northwestern Madhya Pradesh extends up to 7.6 km above mean sea level. An east-west trough extends up to 3.1 km above sea level from the cyclonic circulation over northwest Madhya Pradesh to west central Bengal through East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha and South Chhattisgarh. At the same time, a cyclonic circulation is inclined towards the south with a height between 3.1 to 7.6 km above sea level over the east central Bay of Bengal. Under its influence, a low pressure area is likely to form over north-western Bay of Bengal during the next 48 hours.
Alert of heavy rain in six districts of UP
The weather department has expressed the possibility of heavy rain in many districts of UP. 19 people died due to rain in the state on Monday. Due to rain, the administration had closed schools in some districts for one to two days.
