The weather patterns have changed once again in many states of India. The sky is covered with clouds amid the onset of cold. Rain has been recorded in many states including Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala. The Meteorological Department has said that there may be rain in many cities in the coming two-three days. According to Skymet Weather, the western disturbance over Jammu and Kashmir is now moving towards the east. By the night of 7 November, a fresh western disturbance will reach the western Himalayas. At the same time, a cyclonic circulation is 1.5 to 3.1 km above mean sea level over the west central Arabian Sea. Due to this, changes in seasonal activities may be seen in many states.
According to Skymet Weather, during the last 24 hours, light to moderate rain has occurred over Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, coastal Andhra Pradesh and the south coast of Odisha. At the same time, there has been light rain in different parts of Chhattisgarh and southern Jharkhand.
Light to moderate rain and snowfall occurred in some parts of Kashmir.
At the same time, during the next 24 hours i.e. tomorrow, there may be light to moderate rain with heavy rain at some places in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, South Coast of Andhra Pradesh, Coastal Karnataka and some parts of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. Apart from this, there may be light to moderate rain in Lakshadweep, Rayalaseema and South Interior Karnataka.
According to Skymet Weather, along with light rain in Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand and Odisha, there may also be moderate rain at one or two places.
Here, the India Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert for three districts of Kerala on Friday. IMD has said that there may be very heavy rain here. IMD said that very heavy rain may occur at some places in Idukki, Kozhikode and Wayanad districts on Friday. There is a possibility of 12 to 20 cm rainfall in these areas in 24 hours.
At the same time, the Meteorological Department has also issued orange alert for Pathanamthitta and Idukki districts for Saturday. Similarly, on Friday, yellow alert has been issued for other districts except Kasaragod.
Let us tell you, Orange Alert indicates very heavy rain of six to 20 centimeters. According to IMD, there is a possibility of rain or thundershowers due to north-east monsoon at most places in Kerala for the next three days.
Many parts of Tamil Nadu received torrential rain on Friday and the Regional Meteorological Center has warned of more rain in the next three days. According to S Balachandran, Additional Director General of Meteorology, there will be intermittent and sometimes heavy rains in Chennai and its suburbs. He said that there is a possibility of heavy rain at some places in Kanyakumari, Tirunelveli, Tenkasi, Theni and Dindigul districts in the next 24 hours.
Heavy rain occurred in many areas of southern Tamil Nadu and at some places in the northern areas. Due to continuous rains, life was completely affected. There was a lot of difficulty in going to school and office. Heavy rains caused waterlogging in some parts of South Chennai.
