Weather forecast: New Western Disturbance will be active, chill will increase in many states, two-four people will be affected due to rain

A cyclonic circulation over South Tamil Nadu extends up to 5.8 km above mean sea level. According to Skymet Weather, it is likely to move in west-northwest direction towards southeast and adjacent east central Arabian Sea during the next three days. Due to its impact, a low pressure area may develop over the east central Arabian Sea around November 8.

The Western Disturbance is expected to reach close to the Western Himalayas from the night of 7th November.

According to Skymet Weather, heavy rain has been seen in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Lakshadweep and Rayalaseema in the last 24 hours. There has been light to moderate rain in coastal Andhra Pradesh, coastal Odisha and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Apart from this, light rain has occurred in Gangetic West Bengal, Jharkhand, Sikkim, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Coastal and South Interior Karnataka, South Konkan and Goa and South Central Maharashtra.

According to Skymet Weather, light to moderate rain with isolated heavy falls may occur over parts of Kerala, Coastal Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka, Rayalaseema, Lakshadweep and Tamil Nadu during the next 24 hours.

There may be light rain over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and southern coast of Odisha.

Light rain may occur in Southern Chhattisgarh, Goa, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim.
