Delhi’s climate
According to a bulletin of the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the sky may remain cloudy in Delhi today. There was light to moderate rain in the city on Tuesday and Wednesday. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data, the Air Quality Index (AQI) of Delhi was recorded at 126 at 9 am. IMD’s bulletin states that the relative humidity was recorded at 66 per cent at 8.30 am.
UP weather
The weather has changed amidst the humid summer in Lucknow, the capital of UP. The sky is cloudy in many places in the capital and due to the wind, people have got relief from the heat. Several rivers including Ganga, Yamuna, Saryu and Ghaghra are flowing above the danger mark in various areas of Uttar Pradesh due to rains in the mountains and release of water from many places. Many villages of the state are in the grip of flood. Ganga and Saryu rivers are also in spate in eastern UP and are showing a formidable form.
Thunderstorm and rain warning in Patna
Thunderstorm and rain warnings have been issued in some parts of Bihar’s capital Patna. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert in this regard. There is a warning about Thanka in Bhojpur and Siwan. There is an alert of heavy rain in Rohtas and Kaimur. There is a warning of lightning in Gopalganj and Saran. Rain warning has been issued in Jehanabad and Jamui.
