Weather will change due to cyclonic storm
According to Skymet Weather, the cyclonic storm is likely to move northwards till the central parts of the Bay of Bengal after recurving in the north-east direction. A cyclonic circulation is lying at low level over Northeast Rajasthan. Another cyclonic circulation is over the northwest Bay of Bengal near Tamil Nadu coast.
Heavy rain possible at one or two places
According to Skymet Weather, during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain and snowfall may occur over Gilgit Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Ladakh, Jammu Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Arunachal Pradesh. There is a possibility of light rain in the upper areas of these states. Light to moderate rain with one or two heavy spells is possible over parts of Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Maharashtra.
Chance of light rain with dust storm
According to Skymet Weather, there may be light rain with dust storm in some parts of Punjab and Haryana. Light rain is possible over Meghalaya, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Vidarbha, South Chhattisgarh and Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The sea condition is very likely to be rough to very rough over Andaman Sea and Southeast Bay of Bengal during next 2 days. Moderate to strong winds can also blow in these areas.
