Fear of cyclone in South-East Bay of Bengal
Meteorologists are seeing the condition of cyclonic circulation in the southeast of the Bay of Bengal on Saturday as the possibility of a cyclonic storm in the region next week. India Meteorological Department (IMD) Director General Mrutyunjay Mohapatra said that conditions of a cyclonic circulation are forming over the Bay of Bengal and southeast in the lower and middle troposphere levels. Due to its effect, a low pressure area is expected to form in the same area by May 8. After the formation of low pressure area, information about the path and intensity of the possible cyclone will be made available later.

According to Skymet Weather, during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with isolated heavy rain is very likely over Tamil Nadu and South Karnataka. Light to moderate rain is possible over Sikkim, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh and Western Himalayas.

One or two moderate rains may occur over Punjab, Haryana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, South Chhattisgarh and Madhya Maharashtra. There is a possibility of dust storm at different places in Haryana, Rajasthan and Delhi. Light rain is possible over Southwest Madhya Pradesh, Interior Karnataka, Telangana and Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
