He said that a low pressure area is likely to form in the east-central and adjacent northeastern areas of the Bay of Bengal by Friday and after that it is likely to move towards northern Odisha and Gangetic West Bengal. The Meteorological Department said that due to this weather condition, there is a possibility of heavy rain in Gangetic West Bengal on 29 and 30 September. He told that there are chances of heavy rain in Northern Odisha also from September 29 to October 1.
