Along with this, ‘Yellow Alert’ has been issued for 21 August. It said that light rain was recorded in isolated areas of the state on Sunday as well. The Meteorological Office has warned of flash floods in the catchment areas of Chamba and Mandi districts and has predicted rains to continue till August 26.

According to Skymet Weather, during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain with isolated heavy rain is likely over Vidarbha, West Madhya Pradesh and East Rajasthan. On the other hand, Sikkim, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh may receive light to moderate rains with heavy rains at one or two places.

According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon trough line is likely to pass through the state from 22 to 26 August. Due to this, it is expected to rain in North Bihar region. Heavy to very heavy rain at one or two places and extremely heavy rain at one or two places in some districts of the northern part.
Similar weather conditions are expected in Uttar Pradesh on August 22 as well. On August 23, rain and thundershowers may occur at many places in western Uttar Pradesh and at many places in eastern Uttar Pradesh. There is a possibility of rain in West Uttar Pradesh and East Uttar Pradesh on August 24 as well. At present, till August 25, the condition of rain is prevailing in the state. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of an increase of two to three degrees Celsius in the temperature for the next 24 hours. After this, a drop of two to three degree Celsius can be recorded.
