The Meteorological Department (IMD) has said in its forecast that the sky may be mainly cloudy in the national capital Delhi on Sunday and there is a possibility of light rain. He said that the maximum and minimum temperature could be around 33 and 27 degree Celsius respectively.
According to Skymet Weather, during the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain and thundershowers at one or two places are likely over North Madhya Pradesh, parts of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim and Jharkhand. There is a possibility of heavy rain at places.
According to Skymet Weather, light to moderate rains may occur over remaining parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand, parts of Odisha, Northeast India and Coastal Karnataka. While light rain is expected over Haryana, Punjab, Delhi, rest of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Vidarbha, Konkan and Goa, parts of Madhya Maharashtra, Gujarat, South Odisha, South Interior Karnataka, Coastal Karnataka, Kerala, Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar Islands. There are chances.
In Bihar, rain is expected in most of the districts of North Bihar including Darbhanga, Supaul, Araria and Kishanganj from August 6 to 9. On the other hand, on August 10, rain is expected in almost all the districts of Bihar. Yellow alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department.
The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility of heavy to very heavy rains in about 10 districts including Santakbir Nagar, Siddharthnagar, Shravasti of Uttar Pradesh on Sunday. There is an alert of heavy rain in other districts. The process of rain is going to continue in UP.
