Due to this, there may be sporadic rain in East Gujarat and East Rajasthan. The rain will start on the evening of January 8 and may continue till January 9.

There is a possibility of light rain in parts of Lakshadweep, Konkan and Goa, Rajasthan, East Gujarat, East Rajasthan and West Madhya Pradesh.

There may be light to moderate rain at isolated places in the western part of the state (Palamu division) as well as in Kolhan. This is happening due to the effect of western disturbance forming in North India.
According to the information given by Meteorological Center, Patna, due to western disturbance, it is likely to affect North-West India from Monday. Due to this, the temperature of Bihar will drop by 2 to 3 degrees and there is a strong possibility of rain.
Cold wave is going on in UP. Dense fog may be seen at one or two places in the state on January 8. The weather is expected to remain dry in eastern Uttar Pradesh. There is a possibility of thundershowers and rain at one or two places in western Uttar Pradesh. Apart from dense fog on January 9, there may also be rain with lightning and thunder at different places.
