Heavy rain forecast in many northeastern states
There is a possibility of rain in the Northeast. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rain in many northeastern states during the next five days. Information has been given by the Local Meteorological Center (RMC) of IMD in Guwahati that rain may be seen in Assam, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh. ‘Yellow alert’ has been issued by the Meteorological Department for these states for the next four days.
Weather of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh
According to Skymet Weather, light to moderate rain with thunderstorms may be seen in East Madhya Pradesh, Central Maharashtra, Marathwada as well as Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh.
Jharkhand weather
The weather has become pleasant due to light rain last night in many districts including Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Some drop in temperature has been recorded. However, the weather will clear from today i.e. the first day of the month. Due to dry weather, an increase in temperature may be seen.

Bihar weather
The weather in Bihar is now becoming hot. Increase in temperature is being recorded in most parts of the state including the capital Patna, due to which the heat has increased. Information has been given by the Meteorological Department that during the next four days the maximum temperature may increase by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius.
