People are troubled by the biting cold in almost all parts of the country. Snowfall is occurring in the mountains, the effect of which is visible in the plains as well. There is a continuous decline in the temperature in most of the states of the country, the possibility of rain is also seen in some states including Delhi. Many states are in the grip of cold wave due to snowfall. Jharkhand is also not untouched by this. Cold wave is going on in Jharkhand since 19th December. On 19-20 December, the mercury of Kanke in Ranchi reached 3 degrees. Even on Friday, the temperature of Kanke was recorded at only 3 degrees. At the same time, due to cold wave of two-three days, the minimum temperature of Hazaribagh district had reached two degrees. However, due to fog since December 22, there has been a slight increase in the minimum temperature. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather pattern in Jharkhand will remain like this. The sky will remain cloudy for a day or two. After this the minimum temperature may remain slightly elevated. According to Abhishek Anand, in-charge of the weather centre, the weather will remain dry in the coming five to seven days. There may be fog during the day. It will remain partly cloudy for a few days. This will increase the temperature by two to three degrees. The maximum temperature of the capital is expected to be 22 to 23 degrees and the minimum temperature is expected to be around 10 degrees Celsius. After this the temperature will fall again. The Meteorological Center has predicted the possibility of fog on Christmas Day. There is no weather warning yet.
