In the last few days, the weather patterns have changed in many states of the country. The onset of winter and the onset of rain have increased the problems of the common people. In view of the rains in many states, the Meteorological Department has also issued yellow and orange alerts. Rain has been seen in many states of the country including Delhi, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh.
It rained in some parts of the national capital Delhi today i.e. on Monday. Light rain occurred in many areas of Delhi including Chirag. It is expected that light rain will provide some relief from the pollution spread in Delhi.
Light to moderate rain with hailstorm was recorded in some parts of Rajasthan during the last 24 hours. Maximum rainfall of 60 mm has occurred in Sindri area of Barmer. According to the Meteorological Department, during the last 24 hours, hailstorm along with thunder and lightning were recorded at some places in the western parts.
Light to moderate rain was recorded at some places in Rajasthan. According to the department, in the 24 hours till 8.30 am on Monday, 5 cm rain each was recorded in Mount Abu of Sirohi, 5 cm each in Sanchore, Pratapgarh, Kushalgarh and Bhungada of Banswara, Bagora of Jalore and Sedwa of Barmer. In other areas, rainfall ranging from four cm to one centimeter was recorded.
Even in Madhya Pradesh, people have to suffer due to rain at different places. In the last 24 hours, four people died in the state due to lightning and a youth was seriously injured. On Sunday, there was heavy rain with thunder in many parts of the state. India Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert regarding rain, under which there is a possibility of hailstorm, strong wind at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour and lightning at different places in Madhya Pradesh on Monday.
According to Skymet Weather, changes are being seen in the weather due to western disturbance. A cyclonic circulation has formed over western Rajasthan. An area of cyclonic winds has also formed over some parts of Madhya Pradesh. Under its influence, a low pressure area may form in the next 24 hours, which may turn into a pressure area over south-east Bay of Bengal and the adjacent Andaman Sea around November 29.
During the next 24 hours, light to moderate rain at one or two places with isolated heavy falls may occur over Madhya Pradesh, Coastal Tamil Nadu and Coastal Andhra Pradesh as well as Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
According to Skymet Weather, there may be light to moderate rain and snowfall in the upper areas of the Western Himalayas. Due to this, cold may increase in the plains.
It is noteworthy that during the last 24 hours, moderate to heavy rain occurred in parts of Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, southern Rajasthan, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and parts of northern Maharashtra.
Light to moderate rain along with one or two heavy spells occurred on the southern coast of Andhra Pradesh. Light to moderate rain occurred in Tamil Nadu, parts of Kerala, Rayalaseema, North and Central Rajasthan. Incidents of hailstorm and lightning occurred at many places in Gujarat and parts of South Rajasthan.
