It rained heavily in Delhi, the roads were flooded and people had to take shelter here and there to avoid the rain. Water-logging occurred in some areas of the national capital, leading to slow movement of traffic in many parts.

According to the bulletin of the India Meteorological Department, most places in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh and Uttarakhand received rain between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm on Monday.
One person died due to lightning in Uttar Pradesh
A 28-year-old man was killed by lightning in Uttar Pradesh’s Jaunpur district and two people were injured when a portion of the balcony of an under-construction multi-storey building collapsed amid heavy rains in Noida.
