Severe cyclonic storm Hamoon has moved towards the north-east. Meanwhile, the wind speed is between 75 to 85 and 95 in the form of a cyclonic storm. Meanwhile, Storm Hamoon has now weakened and turned into a deep depression. It may further weaken into a depression by the evening of October 25. According to Skymet Weather, a cyclonic circulation is 1.5 to 3.1 km above sea level over the North West Bay of Bengal off the Andhra Pradesh coast.
According to Skymet Weather, there may be light to moderate rain at some places and heavy rain at isolated places in Kerala during the next 24 hours. There may be light rain in Northeast India, Gangetic West Bengal, Coastal Odisha, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Lakshadweep. There may be a slight drop in minimum temperatures in North-West, Central and Eastern India.
Due to change in weather activities, there is a possibility of thunderstorm and lightning over Kerala and Tamil Nadu today, with light to moderate rain and heavy rain at isolated places. Apart from this, light to moderate rain may occur in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura today (October 25).
The Meteorological Department had said on Tuesday that Cyclone Hamoon would cross the Bangladesh coast between Khepupara and Chittagong by the evening of October 25. Landfall may occur here during this period. The speed of the cyclonic storm will increase from 65 to 75 km per hour and will reach 85 km per hour.
Due to cyclonic storm Hamon, heavy rains were seen in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. Apart from this, due to seasonal activities, light to moderate rain was recorded in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Gangetic West Bengal in the last 24 hours. There was light rain in Lakshadweep, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Assam, Meghalaya and Nagaland.
Regarding Cyclone Hamoon, Alipur Meteorological Department has said that due to Cyclone Hamoon, wind can blow at a speed of 30 to 50 km. Due to bad conditions, fishermen have been stopped from going into the sea.
At the same time, many cities of UP are troubled by smog. The Meteorological Department says that at present there will be no relief from haze. According to the Meteorological Department, the weather in the state will remain dry till the end of this month i.e. till 31st October. There is no possibility of any major change in the maximum and minimum temperatures during the next 5 days. After this, cold will start coming in UP.
