India Meteorological Department (IMD) weather center Ranchi gave this information on Sunday (March 17). According to the Meteorological Department, on March 17 and 18, thunderstorms accompanied by strong winds occurred in the southern and adjacent central parts of Jharkhand i.e. East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, Seraikela-Kharsawan, Simdega, Khunti, Gumla, Lohardaga, Ramgarh, Bokaro and the capital Ranchi. There is a possibility of it happening.

Rain with thunder, possibility of thunderstorm

According to the Meteorological Department, there will be rain and thunder at some places in these districts. Wind speed can be 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for these 10 districts for March 17 and 18, while both yellow and orange alerts have been issued for March 19.

According to the weather center located at Birsa Munda Airport in the capital Ranchi, strong winds will blow in these 10 districts on March 19, the speed of which can be 40 to 50 kilometers. Along with this, there are chances of rain and lightning along with thunder. According to the Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of hailstorm at isolated places in the capital Ranchi, Gumla, Khunti, Simdega and West Singhbhum districts.

Light to moderate rainfall accompanied by storm and thunder

Apart from this, there will be rain with strong winds in many districts including northern parts of the state i.e. Palamu, Garhwa, Chatra, Koderma, Latehar and Lohardaga. Thunderstorms may also occur. The wind speed is expected to be 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. Strong winds will blow at many places on March 20 also. There is also a possibility of thunderstorm. The Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert for March 20.

Weather News: Hail fell in Ranchi and Bokaro

Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, there was light to moderate rainfall with thunderstorms at some places. Hailstorm also occurred at some places in Ranchi and Bokaro districts. The maximum rainfall of 32.4 mm occurred in Mazgaon of West Singhbhum. The highest temperature in Daltenganj was the highest in the state. The maximum temperature here was 34.6 degrees centigrade, while the lowest minimum temperature was recorded in Lohardaga at 16.7 degrees centigrade.
