The weather patterns are changing in the country. Severe winter has started in North India. The temperature is continuously falling. A day after Delhi recorded the coldest morning of this season on Monday, the minimum temperature in the city remained below seven degrees Celsius on Tuesday. On Tuesday morning the mercury was recorded at 6.8 degrees Celsius, two degrees below normal. The coldest morning of this season was recorded in the national capital on Monday and the minimum temperature was 6.5 degrees Celsius, three degrees below normal.
The Meteorological Department says that if no new western disturbance comes, the weather pattern in Delhi will remain the same. An IMD official said on Tuesday that the minimum temperature is expected to fluctuate in the next five to seven days. There will be light clouds in the sky of Delhi tomorrow i.e. on Wednesday. Also, the minimum temperature is likely to be around seven degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is likely to be around 25 degrees Celsius.
The weather patterns of Jharkhand are changing. It is bitterly cold in the morning and night, while in the afternoon it is feeling warm in the bright sunshine. However, the Meteorological Department has said that the temperature will fall in the entire Jharkhand including Ranchi in the coming days. The department has said that the temperature in the state may drop by three to four degrees in the coming few days.
The effect of cold is also visible in Odisha. On Tuesday, the mercury dropped below 10 degrees Celsius in many areas due to which the cold wave started increasing in the state. IMD has predicted a drop of two to four degrees Celsius in night temperatures at many places in the state by December 14. Bhubaneswar-based Meteorological Center director HR Biswas said, cold wave conditions are expected to persist in most parts of Odisha till January 2.
The temperature has also dropped in Kashmir. Although an increase in temperature was recorded in the valley on Monday, the minimum temperature still remains below zero. The Meteorological Department said that till December 16 it will be generally cloudy but the weather will remain dry.
The Meteorological Department says that even in Bihar, there will be no significant impact of the activity of Western Disturbance. According to the Meteorological Department, there will be no significant change in the weather of Bihar for the next three days. However, the temperature will continue to drop. There will be a lot of difference in temperature between day and night. At the same time, after December 15, the temperature will start falling further.
The drop in temperature continues in UP. According to the Zonal Meteorological Center in the capital Lucknow, due to westerly winds, there is more impact on the temperature at night than during the day. The temperature has fallen in many areas of the state. The weather remains dry. The Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of fog in many areas.
While it is becoming severe cold in North India, it is raining in East-South India. According to Skymet Weather, there are chances of light rain at some places in Northeast India, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Andhra Pradesh. At the same time, moderate to dense fog can be seen in eastern Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and North-Eastern India.
