This saint, who raised questions regarding the timing of inauguration of Ram temple, has now praised PM Modi profusely. Shankaracharya Avimukteshwarananda has said that we are not anti-Modi, but his fans. He said that after Narendra Modi became the PM, the self-respect of Hindus has awakened. We are fans of PM Modi
Shankaracharya Avimukteshwaranand while talking to the media said that we are not opponents of PM Modi but his fans. He said that we are not criticizing any other Prime Minister. But PM Modi is the first PM of India who supports Hindu sentiments. It is noteworthy that recently in his statement, Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Maharaj had made a big comment about Ram Temple. He had said that installing God in the half-built Ram temple is not right at all.

While talking to the media, Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati Maharaj also said that he has openly praised many works of PM Modi. He said that we welcomed the decision to abolish Article 370. Apart from this, we fully supported the cleanliness campaign and the Citizenship Amendment Act. He said that India has progressed under the leadership of PM Modi.
In this context, Sri Harihar Sri Gyansamband Desika Swamigal of Tamil Nadu has said that Prime Minister Modi went to Rameshwaram, took a holy bath in the sea, meditated and fasted. I have never seen such a Prime Minister. We should have done many good works. It is karma to have such a devout Prime Minister. He is fond of ascetics and is on the spiritual path, that is why I respect PM Modi.
