A QR code was printed next to each question in the question paper.

Every year, before the examination, allegations of leaking of secondary examination questions come to the fore. To avoid this problem, the Central Education Board had taken extra precautions this year. This year the question papers were designed in such a way that if someone took a picture of them, they could be identified. The board had printed a QR code next to each question in the question paper. The board said that if someone takes a photograph, it is possible to identify from the QR code where the photograph was taken. The Council sought to know whether the photo in question was taken from any part of the state. Two students of Maldah have fallen into that trap.

Taking photographs of questions is prohibited. Students were informed in advance.

As per the instructions of the board, the examiners at each examination center had already informed the students that taking photographs of the questions is prohibited. The teachers in charge of the examination center will also have to be told that if anyone takes a picture, he will be punished. Just like that the instructions came from the board. It has been found that in many schools of Kolkata, teachers had alerted the candidates by giving them information about the guidelines of the board even before the commencement of the examination.

Two candidates from Malda were arrested

Board Chairman Ramanuj Gangopadhyay said that the culprits were identified within an hour of the exam question paper being released on social media. The board sees this as its success.
