Job aspirants claim that the merit list of SLST 2016 has not been published. Earlier in 2019, job seekers had gone on a hunger strike for 29 days. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had come to meet him, but despite the Chief Minister’s promise, he did not get the job. Hundreds of youth again sat on hunger strike on this complaint. In 2021, he staged a protest in Salt Lake for 187 days. After this, the last 1000 days and nights were spent on the road. But did not get any job. An attempt has been made to attract the attention of the state government by protesting in different ways for 1000 days on Rasmani Road, but no action has been taken till now.
