SLST 2016 job aspirants from class 9th to 12th are continuously sitting on strike demanding recruitment in the school. These job seekers are protesting since March 15, 2021. The female candidate has requested the Chief Minister that job seekers like her should be appointed immediately. You all rise above politics and solve our problems. We need a job.
Saugata said, drama is happening

SLST candidates have strongly criticized the comments of ruling party MP Saugata. CPM leader Sujan Chakraborty has sarcastically said that misgovernance is going on in the state. SLST candidates say that qualified job seekers are not getting jobs, unqualified people are working. Another job seeker said, SLST 2016 female candidate has shaved her hair. Now it seems that we will have to sacrifice our lives to get our jobs, only then will the Mamata government see our plight.
Job aspirants claim that the merit list of SLST 2016 has not been published. Earlier in 2019, job seekers had gone on a hunger strike for 29 days. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had come to meet him, but despite the Chief Minister’s promise, he did not get the job. Hundreds of youth again sat on hunger strike on this complaint. In 2021, he staged a protest in Salt Lake for 187 days. After this, the last 1000 days and nights were spent on the road. But did not get any job. An attempt has been made to attract the attention of the state government by protesting in different ways for 1000 days on Rasmani Road, but no action has been taken till now.
