WB: Trinamool expressed concern over the death of 4 children in BSF line in Chopra, will meet the Governor on Thursday.

The politics of the state has heated up over the death of four children in BSF controlled area in Chetnagachh of Chopra, North Dinajpur of West Bengal. The ruling party Trinamool has started a movement regarding this. Time was also sought to meet the Governor on Tuesday. It is reported that a request has been made to meet him immediately. Meanwhile, the Governor is not in Kolkata at present. After inspecting the situation in Sandeshkhali on Monday, he has gone to Delhi. According to Raj Bhavan sources, the Trinamool delegation has been given time to meet the Governor on Thursday.

There will be protests across the state against the incident

According to Trinamool sources, the Trinamool delegation will request the Governor to visit Chopra. The question of the ruling party of the state is that if the Governor can go to Sandeshkhali on the complaint of unrest, then why will not CV Anand Bose Chopra go to the case of death of four children due to negligence of BSF? Chandrima Bhattacharya said, “The BSF personnel did not see that four children fell while playing.” He said that protests will be held across the state on Tuesday against the incident. Along with the protest in Chopra, there will be protests and demonstration programs against the activities of the central forces at other places also.

BSF denied the allegations of local people

BSF has denied the allegations of the local people. It has been told by BSF that the soil lying there belonged to the people of the village. There was no soil to drain where the incident took place. Whereas after hearing the news of four children being buried, their soldiers reached there, rescued the children and took them to the hospital. Police have recovered the bodies and sent them for post-mortem. An investigation has been started into how this incident happened.

4 children fell into the drain while playing

There was a small drain on the India-Bangladesh border in Chetangachh village of Chopra police station of North Dinajpur. For its expansion, excavation was being done with JCB. Local residents went to that area to see the work. At that time children aged 6 to 14 years were playing there. While playing, four children fell into the drain and died. BSF jawans rescued him and took him to Chopra Health Centre. There the doctors declared four children dead. Trinamool has started a movement accusing BSF of negligence in this regard.

12 Trinamool delegation will go to Raj Bhavan

In the Trinamool delegation, a total of 12 delegations including Chandrima Bhattacharya, Firhad Hakim, Bratya Basu along with MP Pratima Mandal, Siliguri Mayor Gautam Dev, Trinamool State Secretary Kunal Ghosh will go to Raj Bhavan to meet CV Anand Bose.
