State BJP in West Bengal Teacher Appointment Corruption Case (Teach appointment corruption cases, Sujay Krishna Bhadra alias Kalighater Kaku, arrested in 2017, has been accused of unnecessarily occupying the beds in the metropolis’s largest government hospital, SSKM Medical College and Hospital. A petition regarding this has been filed on the division bench of the Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court on Tuesday. It is noteworthy that Sujay Krishna Bhadra is an accused in the case of crores of rupees cash for job in school. The division bench of High Court Chief Justice TS Sivagananam and Justice Supratim Bhattacharya has accepted the petition and ordered to give notice to all the parties concerned. The hearing of this case is expected to be held on Thursday.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is continuously investigating the job-for-money case in the school. The ED has already accused SSKM of manipulating the medical report of Sujay Krishna Bhadra, on the basis of which the accused was kept in unnecessary hospital without adequate medical grounds. The officials of the central agency have also complained to the court that due to this approach of SSKM, the entire process of voice sampling test of Sujay Krishna Bhadra is being repeatedly delayed.

A single-judge bench of the Calcutta High Court has directed SSKM officials to submit the medical report of Sujay Krishna Bhadra to the court by January 5. On similar grounds, a public interest litigation (PIL) was filed in the Calcutta court last month, accusing SSKM officials of providing safe haven to persons accused of being involved in several cases related to financial corruption.
