WB News: Statewide movement of state BJP from tomorrow to provide minimum support price to farmers.

Now to give the farmers of West Bengal their rights State BJP (State BJP, Have decided to protest. While addressing the press conference on Saturday, state BJP spokesperson Shamik Bhattacharya said that the party will protest in the entire state from Monday along with the farmers. BJP’s Kisan Morcha cell will hold continuous protests in the districts from Monday. He says that the condition of farmers in the state is bad. They are not able to sell paddy at the minimum support price. He even claims that if farmers complain about not getting the minimum support price, they are harassed by the police. Mr. Bhattacharya said that BJP’s Kisan Morcha cell will stage a protest outside the BDO and SP office in every district.

State BJP spokesperson said that the change in power in the state had happened keeping the farmers’ movement at the forefront. Trinamool Congress had made this a weapon, but after coming to power, Trinamool did nothing for the farmers. He said that after the change of power, the condition of farmers in the state has worsened. The situation is such that farmers are not even getting the minimum support price for their produce.

It is noteworthy that a few days ago, some farmers had gone to the Kisan Mandi located at Goghat in Hooghly to sell their produce, but there they were not even being given the minimum support price. It is alleged that when they protested against this, the police misbehaved with the farmers and even beat them up. A meeting will be organized by BJP in Chandrakona against this incident, in which opposition leader Shubhendu Adhikari and state BJP president Sukant Majumdar will be present. After this, a movement will be started by the state BJP in all the districts of the state.
