Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Had taken initiative to attract investment in Bengal. This time the state government will give 300 acres of land to West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation. It is known that this land is being given for industrial development in Paschim Medinipur district. According to sources, this decision was taken in the state cabinet meeting in the assembly.

It is noteworthy that before the puja, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee had visited Spain for investment in Bengal. Many important meetings took place there. Former Indian captain Saurabh Ganguly also accompanied Mamata on the Spain tour. Recently, from the platform of World Bengal Trade Conference, Mamata has also declared Saurabh as the brand ambassador of Bengal. Saurabh had announced his industrial investment in Bengal from Madrid during his visit to Spain. He is also setting up a steel plant in the same Paschim Medinipur district.

According to sources in West Bengal Industrial Development Corporation, when Saurabh announced investment in Paschim Medinipur, many other industrialists have also shown interest in investing in this district. Many entrepreneurs want to invest in Paschim Medinipur. In such a situation, the demand for land is increasing. According to sources, many companies willing to invest have already applied for the industry. In such a situation, in the state cabinet meeting, it has been decided to allot 300 acres of land for the Industrial Development Corporation.
