Special emphasis will be given on industrial development in Darjeeling

According to the information, industrialists from various districts of North Bengal as well as industrialists from the metropolis and different areas of the country will reach here in this business summit. However, it is not yet clear whether the Chief Minister will attend the said business summit or not.

Chief Minister is going on seven-day tour to North Bengal

According to information received from state secretariat sources, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee is going to North Bengal on a seven-day tour. The Chief Minister’s visit to North Bengal will be from 6th to 12th December. The Chief Minister will leave for Siliguri on 6th. On December 8, she will attend a government program in Kurseong and on December 10, she will distribute land leases among the people in Banarhat. After this, she will also attend a government program in Siliguri on 12th December.

Administrative officers instructed to make preparations

The State Secretariat has instructed the local administrative officers to make preparations for the Chief Minister’s visit to North Bengal. Siliguri Mayor Gautam Dev, District Magistrate Preeti Goyal, Siliguri Police Commissioner C Sudhakar and other officials took stock of Siliguri’s Kanchenjunga Stadium and Uttarkanya.
