Election Commission gives permission to observe Paschimbang Day with conditions

According to Election Commission sources, the state government had sought permission to observe Paschimbang Day. The Election Commission has given that permission. But the Election Commission has set a condition that no political person can be present there nor can the code of conduct be broken. As soon as the permission was received, preparations started in full swing. It is being told that the program will start with the state anthem ‘Banglar Mati Banglar Jal’.

Paschimbang Day will be celebrated not only at the state level but also at the district, sub-division and block level.
