In view of the demand of passengers and winter holidays in West Bengal, Eastern Railway has decided to continue the operation of its three special trains further. In these special trains, it has been decided to continue the operation of 02023/02024 Howrah-Patna-Howrah Weekly Special, 03230/03229 Patna-Puri-Patna Weekly Special and 08439/08440 Puri-Patna-Puri Weekly Special. The said trains will continue on their existing schedule and route.
02023/02024 Howrah-Patna-Howrah Weekly Special will depart from Howrah and Patna every Sunday from 17th to 31st December. 03230 Patna-Puri weekly special will depart from Patna station every Thursday between December 14 and January 25, while 03229 Puri-Patna weekly special train will depart from Puri station every Friday between December 15 and January 26. Similarly, 08439 Puri-Patna Weekly Special will depart from Puri station every Saturday between January 6 and April 27 and 08440 Patna-Puri Weekly Special will depart from Patna station every Sunday between January 7 and April 28. Booking of 02023 Howrah-Patna Weekly Special is available through PRS and Internet.
Change in route of Raxaul Express
Due to the ongoing non-interlocking work in Samastipur division of East Central Railway, the route of 13021/13022 Howrah-Raxaul-Howrah Express has been changed. NI work started from 8th December and will continue till 15th December. According to the information received, 13021 Howrah-Raxaul Express will leave on the changed route Muzaffarpur-Sitamarhi-Raxaul from 12 to 14 December. Similarly, 13022 Raxaul-Howrah Express, leaving from Raxaul station on December 12, will run via the changed route Raxaul-Sitamarhi-Muzaffarpur instead of Raxaul-Sagauli-Bapudham Motihari-Muzaffarpur.
Bhubaneswar-Dhanbad special train will continue further.
In view of the additional rush of passengers, South Eastern Railway has decided to continue the operation of 02832/02831 Bhubaneswar-Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar Special. According to the information received, 02832 Bhubaneswar-Dhanbad special will continue till 29th April next year and 02831 Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar special will continue till 30th April.
