Burdwan/Panagarh, Mukesh Tiwari : Before the objective of peaceful general elections-2024 Burdwan district Route march of paramilitary forces along with Central Armed Police forces under the leadership of Burdwan Police continues. Voting has been announced for May 13. The police of all the police stations of the district are going door to door asking the voters to exercise their franchise without any hesitation. The area is being monitored for criminal/suspicious activities. Even today, on the initiative of all the police stations of the district, a route march was conducted with the central forces. The Central Corps marched mainly in various areas of Madhavdihi police station area like Bathri, Keshavpur, Shrirampur, Nasipur, Masjidpur, Kaithi, Barojpota, Khanhar and Chhotabainon, Kalui, Rampur, Manyari, Fatikgram, Narottambati and Narayanpur villages.
Central Vahini appeals to voters to vote without fear
The same march was also carried out in Jotsadi, Banatir, Belsore and Bolpur, Machkhanda, Khalerpul, Babrakpur and Samaspur of Rayana police station area. The Central Vahini of Kalyanpur, Fatepur, Batagram, Ukta, Pichkudi, Goligram, Neemdah Gram Panchayat areas of Guskara police station appealed to the voters to vote without fear. Stroll was conducted in Purva Sthali block and Nakdah, Chandpara of station area under Burdwan East Lok Sabha seat. Route march was conducted in Polempur, Udaikrishnapur and Kamlapur villages of Khandaghosh police station area. Tight security arrangements were made before the vote.

The Central Corps also reached Rajvanshi Para, Madhupur and Chutni. In the same district, patrolling was done in different areas of Ausgram police station in Barenda, Sinut, Bhatpara, Banpara, Thegapara villages of Mangalkot police station and in different areas of Bhatar police station, in Orgram, Shilakot, Mandarbati, Gholda and Aymapara villages.
