Birbhum, Mukesh Tiwari: A mother and an innocent son died under suspicious circumstances in a house located in Kanachipur village of Mallarpur police station area of Birbhum, West Bengal. Earlier, after hearing screams in the house, the neighbors went there and saw that the woman and her five-year-old son were lying on the floor bleeding and moaning. After receiving the information, the police reached there and immediately took the injured mother and daughter to Mallarpur Health Center, from where both were referred to Rampurhat Medical College and Hospital. When taken there, the seriously injured mother and son were declared dead by the doctors. The police took both the bodies into their custody and sent them to the mortuary for autopsy. Local people said that on Friday morning, screams were heard from a house in the tribal locality of Kanachipur village.
Suspicion of murder, police engaged in investigation
After this, when people went there, they found the mother and child in a bloody state on the floor. The neighbors were shocked to see this scene. After immediately informing the police, both the injured were taken to Mallarpur Health Center. From there he was referred to Rampurhat Medical College. When taken there, the doctors declared the mother and son dead. The name of the deceased woman has been stated as Sumi Hansda (25). On the basis of preliminary investigation, the police said that the woman was hit on the head with a sharp weapon, due to which she died. Police believe that an illicit relationship is behind the murder. No arrest has been made in the case yet. The police of Mallarpur police station has started investigating the case.

Her husband had gone to Mumbai for work one and a half months ago. Sumi used to work at the house of former soldier Abdul Ghaffar in the area. On Thursday his mother-in-law had gone somewhere else. At night Sumi was alone at home with her son. In the morning, mother and son were found bloodied. His relative Seema Murmu said, “In the morning I heard noise from that house. After this, I saw that aunty mother and her son were lying on the floor in a bloody condition.” Both of them were immediately taken to the nearest health centre.

Ruban Tudu claims that something like this is happening in the village, it is beyond comprehension. But if someone comes into that house in the dark of night, then nothing can be said. On the other hand, Abdul Ghaffar told that Sumi used to work in his house for a long time. But never saw anything unusual. How all this happened, nothing can be said.
