Preparations for Jagaddhatri Puja are in full swing in West Bengal. Chandannagar Municipal Corporation Deputy Mayor Munna Aggarwal said that a total of six Jagaddhatri Puja pavilions were inaugurated virtually. Regarding Jagaddhatri Puja, General Secretary of Chandannagar Central Jagaddhatri Puja Committee, Shubhjit Sao held a press conference in the office located at Barabazar. Nimai Chandra Das, Shyamal Kumar Ghosh and Jaideep Mukherjee were also present with him. Shubhajit Sao said that a total of 177 puja committees are included in the Central Committee. These include maximum 144 puja committees of Chandannagar, 24 of Bhadreshwar and 11 of Champdani. Jagaddhatri Puja is starting here from 18th November. On November 23, 115 puja committees have been instructed not to participate in the immersion procession. Eight ghats of Chandannagar and nine of Bhadreshwar have been earmarked for immersion.
