Howrah, Kundan Jha: Four businessmen were killed, while three were seriously injured when a goods vehicle overturned near Salup Bridge on National Highway No. 16 under Domjur police station in Howrah, West Bengal. All the injured have been admitted to the district hospital. His condition is said to be critical. All of them were going to Kolkata and Barrackpore after purchasing betel leaves and betel nuts from Mecheda. Till the time of writing the news, those who died have not been identified. The police is trying to identify the deceased from the vehicle number.

According to the information, the rear wheel of a goods vehicle burst near Salup Bridge at 6 am on Tuesday. Due to wheel burst and excessive speed, the vehicle went out of control and overturned on the road. The vehicle was loaded with betel nuts and betel nuts. Seven people were sitting in the vehicle. As soon as the vehicle overturned, everyone got scattered and fell on the road. As soon as information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and took the injured to the hospital. Police said that one died on the spot, while the remaining three died during treatment in the hospital. Due to this incident, there was a traffic jam on one lane of the highway. The vehicle was removed with the help of a crane. After about an hour the traffic system returned to normal. Police have named the deceased as Sushant Das (37), Dipankar Pal (32), Jagdish Samant (18).
Uncontrolled bus collides with three vehicles in Thakurpukur, two injured
Near 3A bus stand in Thakurpukur, Behala, a bus of Kakdweep-Diamond Harbor route went out of control and collided with a bus of route number 235 parked in front. After this the bus collided with three vehicles one after the other and crashed. Three vehicles including a private car were damaged in this incident. Two pedestrians were injured in the accident. The names of the injured have been given as Nirmal Kumar Das and Babita Sarkar. Both were taken to the local hospital.
