CBI has sought approval to initiate legal proceedings against government officials
Many government employees including SP Sinha, Subiresh Bhattacharya are currently in jail or agency custody in the appointment corruption case in the state. CBI has repeatedly sent letters to the state seeking permission to initiate proceedings against the arrested government officials, but complains that despite repeated letters, approval was not given by the state.
