WB News: Teacher appointment scam case in West Bengal Calcutta High Court Has sent a notice to the Chief Secretary of the state. Justice Jaimalya Bagchi has sent a notice to Chief Secretary BP Gopalika asking when the trial process can be started against the government officials arrested in the teacher recruitment case. The Chief Secretary will have to reply by April 3. If you do not report it within that period, you will have to appear in court.

CBI has sought approval to initiate legal proceedings against government officials

Many government employees including SP Sinha, Subiresh Bhattacharya are currently in jail or agency custody in the appointment corruption case in the state. CBI has repeatedly sent letters to the state seeking permission to initiate proceedings against the arrested government officials, but complains that despite repeated letters, approval was not given by the state. Ultimately the Central Investigation Agency approached the High Court. The High Court has summoned the report from the Chief Secretary on 3 April.

Apart from the Calcutta High Court, this matter reached the Supreme Court. The central agency was accused of delaying the investigation. CBI is again claiming that the names of many government officials of the state have come to light during the investigation of recruitment corruption. He has also been taken into custody. But due to lack of government approval, action is not taken against those officers. According to CBI, the High Court has sent a notice to the Chief Secretary.
