The official told the news agency, ‘In the light of the meeting held on March 30 at Gaur Banga University in Malda under the leadership of Bratya Basu and in the presence of other ministers, MPs, MLAs and political leaders, the Chancellor has informed the state government to deliberately violate the code of conduct. Instructions have been given to take strict action against him (Bratya Basu) for violation, which also includes removing him from the cabinet.
