WB News: The National Backward Classes Commission has become strict on Trinamool Congress leader Piyush Panda who made casteist remarks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In this regard, under Article 338 (B) of the Constitution, the Commission has asked the DGP of West Bengal to give details of the action taken in this matter. The DGP will have to give these details on the affidavit. Earlier, BJP leaders had demanded action from the Election Commission and National Backward Classes Commission regarding Piyush Panda’s statement.

He said that Subhendu Adhikari had sent a complaint in this regard, taking cognizance of which he is definitely going to take action on it.
