WB News: CBI raids residences of Trinamool Congress MLAs, councilors in school recruitment scam case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Thursday conducted simultaneous raids at the residences of several Trinamool Congress leaders, including an MLA and two councilors, for their involvement in the alleged school recruitment scam in West Bengal. According to information received from sources, the central agency has raided the residence of Domkal MLA Zafikul Islam of Murshidabad district and Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC) councilor Bappaditya Dasgupta and Bidhannagar Municipal Corporation councilor Debraj Chakraborty.

Raids continue in teacher recruitment scam

The CBI officer said that this raid is being conducted as part of our investigation into the teacher recruitment scam. The raid continues.
