During the investigation in Durgapur, when he was searched, 44 mobile phones were recovered from his suitcase. All mobiles were sent from Malda to Bangladesh. He was arrested after admitting the crime. Andal was brought along with the detained person for further action.

A team from Durgapur RPF post to check suspicious passengers
A team of Durgapur RPF Post has been formed to investigate such suspicious passengers in the platform, which includes SI Pawan Pushkar, SI Shiv Narayan Yadav and other officers and jawans of RPF Post Durgapur.
