Rejecting Trinamool Congress’s claims of stopping money from central schemes in West Bengal and not meeting the Union Minister. Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti Has accused him of ‘spreading false propaganda’ and ‘baking political bread’. Answering the question of Trinamool Congress leader Sudip Bandopadhyay during Question Hour in the Lok Sabha, Minister of State for Rural Development Jyoti said that Trinamool Congress leaders are not concerned about the people of West Bengal and they only want to earn ‘political bread’. Claiming that the central funds of MNREGA scheme allocated for the state have been withheld for the last two years, Bandopadhyay demanded from the central government that it should be released immediately.

Trinamool had accused the Union Minister of not meeting him

Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti was accused of not meeting the Trinamool Congress delegation on this issue. Even today, during Question Hour, Bandopadhyay said that the Trinamool Congress delegation had come here to meet the Rural Development Minister, but could not meet him and when they went to the State Minister’s house, she also left without meeting him. Terming Trinamool Congress’s claim as false, Jyoti said that she was asked for half an hour to meet five people, after which it was said that ten people would meet and then she was told to meet the public.

Trinamool is not worried about the people of West Bengal

The minister said, “I said that the delegation should talk first.” I sat there for two and a half hours from 6 pm to 8.30 pm but he did not come to meet me and alleged that I left through the back gate. She said that she had come out from the same gate through which she comes and goes daily. He said, he is not worried about the people of West Bengal. Just want to spread propaganda and earn political profits. Earlier, Bandopadhyay said that the government is accused of corruption in the funds allocated for schemes in West Bengal. He said that the funds should be stopped from the districts where irregularities are reported, but the entire state should not be troubled.
