Apart from this, industries will be developed in many sectors including tea-tourism, real estate, hotels, agricultural products, food and horticulture, hospitality. All the projects will start within the next two years. It has been told that many projects will be completed in less than a year.

According to information received from the sources of the State Secretariat, this business summit was organized by the Micro, Small and Medium Industries Department of the State Government. State Chief Secretary Harikrishna Dwivedi was present as the chief guest in this conference. Apart from him, Rajesh Pandey, Director of Micro, Small and Medium Industries Department of the State Government, Pradeep Agarwal, President of North Bengal Branch of Confederation of Indian Industry, Sanjay Goyal, North Bengal President of Indian Chamber of Commerce and other officials were present.

A new international level airport will be available soon

State Chief Secretary Hari Krishna Dwivedi said that emphasis will be laid on the development of all types of communication channels for industrialists throughout North Bengal. He said that industrialists have taken the initiative to develop industries in the potential areas of North Bengal. In the next two years, various industries will be established by investing Rs 24 thousand crores. The state government will provide all kinds of help for this. He said that the state government has approved the land for the expansion of Bagdogra airport. The people of the state will soon get a new international standard airport. Also, the Chief Minister himself has taken the initiative to build a new airport in Hasimara. Land related issues are being resolved there. Apart from this, the problem of the runway of Cooch Behar airport is being solved.
