WB: Calcutta High Court gives conditional permission to Mamata Banerjee to take out a goodwill rally on the day of Ram Temple inauguration.

Calcutta High Court has given conditional permission to Trinamool’s Sadbhavana rally. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee (Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Has called for a goodwill rally in Bengal on 22 January, the day of the inauguration of Ram temple in Ayodhya. It has been said that rallies will be taken out in blocks of all the districts except Kolkata. Opposition leader Subhendu Adhikari approached the Calcutta High Court objecting to the procession. The bench of the Chief Justice of Calcutta High Court has given permission for that journey. However, it has been said to keep some things in mind before the procession.

High Court also set some conditions for the rally

Calcutta High Court on Thursday ordered that no such comments can be made in the rally which would hurt anyone’s religious sentiments. While giving the verdict, the Chief Justice reminded that in case of such a rally, there may be traffic problems and ambulances may get stuck. The division bench said that the concerned parties and the state government should be active on these issues. Chief Justice’s comment: If this rally is held in every block then the people there will face problems. No prior permission was taken for this rally. In such a situation, special attention should be paid to ensure that the common people do not face any problem.

If an accident occurs then the responsibility will be on that party

The division bench rejected Shubhendu Adhikari’s petition to take out the procession under the supervision of central forces. According to the court’s decision, if an accident occurs, the responsibility will be on that party. The same party can also be held responsible for violating a court order. Due to apprehension of problem in law and order situation, Shubhendu had approached the High Court. It is noteworthy that Mamata Banerjee has talked about marching from Hazra to Park Circus in Kolkata. The Chief Minister herself will be present in that procession.
