Drop in temperature due to rain

The rainy season is likely to continue after September 26. There has been an impact on the weather in Bareilly due to rain for the last five days. There is a situation of spate in the rivers due to rain on the mountains and release of water from Uttarakhand. The risk of flood has increased due to the start of rain once again.

Electricity problem in many areas

The weather was clear in Bareilly on Saturday night. Besides this, it was very hot. But, it started raining heavily from around 4 am on Sunday morning. People got relief due to decrease in temperature due to rain, but due to power failure, there was a lot of water problem. Electricity supply is stalled in many areas of the city as well as rural areas including Jagriti Nagar, Anand Vihar, Karmachari Nagar, Vidholia, Raza Colony, Harungala, Bankhana, Faridapur, Subhashnagar, Madhinath, Badaun Road of Bareilly’s Rampur Road. Electricity consumers are very upset due to this.

Chance of rain till September 26

He made calls to the local power sub-station and officers to get the power supply repaired. But, it is coming to light that someone’s phone is not being picked up. It is being told that due to lack of electricity supply, water supply has also not come in many areas. Earlier, the heat had increased due to the temperature in Bareilly city. The maximum temperature here was 33 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 30 degrees Celsius, which after the rain came down to 29 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was 25 degrees Celsius.

According to the Meteorological Department, this temperature is expected to come down further. Along with this, rain is expected till 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26 September. Along with this, there will be dark clouds and winds will also blow. There is a possibility of damage to paddy crops due to rain.

Roads closed due to rain, streets filled with water

After the heavy rains that started on Sunday morning, the roads of Jagatpur, Hajiyapur, Madhinath and Badaun Road of the city have been flooded. Due to this it has become difficult for people to come out. People complained to the Municipal Corporation, but due to Sunday holiday no hearing took place. Apart from this, due to lack of cleaning of drains in the city, there is waterlogging at many places.

Water level increased in rivers

The water level of rivers has increased after the rain. Recently, after the rains, the water level of all the rivers of the division including Ramganga passing through Bareilly, Kichha, Bahgul and Ganga passing through Badaun had increased. Actually, it is raining heavily in Uttarakhand, due to which the process of releasing water from the barrage will also start. Recently, 83 thousand cusecs of water was released from Kho Barrage of Uttarakhand, 22 thousand cusecs from Gola Barrage and 23 thousand cusecs from Kosi Barrage.

The water level had increased after the release of water in the Ganga and Ramganga rivers. Due to this, the crops on the banks of the rivers had started drowning, while harvesting is expected to start again in the villages of Mirganj. Ganga and Ramganga are already close to the danger mark. However, the administration is on alert after the water rises. Flood posts have also been activated and monitoring has been started. The Flood Division Department has once again issued a warning to the people of villages close to the rivers regarding the possibility of floods in Ramganga and Ganga.

9 mm rain in 6 hours

It is raining heavily in Bareilly. 9 mm of rain has fallen in the last 6 hours. Due to this there is waterlogging on the roads. Recently, there was 97 mm rainfall in Bareilly in 5 days i.e. 122 hours. The water level of Ramganga river was 158.4 meter gauge on Sunday. It is expected to increase further by Sunday evening, while there is danger at 163.07 meter gauge. That is why an alert has been issued.

Power cut made everyone miserable

People are troubled by power cuts from city to village. There are continuous power cuts here. Apart from the poor transfer, the supply is also disrupted due to fault in the line. Consumers are complaining to the local electricity officers. But no hearing is being held on their complaint. Due to this, anger among the consumers is increasing.
