Friday’s maximum temperature in Samastipur was 29.5 degree Celsius, which was 2.9 degree Celsius less than normal. At the same time, the minimum temperature was 24.0 degree Celsius, which was 2.7 degree Celsius less than normal.

Due to the submergence of the diversion near the under-construction Laukahi bridge due to heavy rains in Purnia, the road connectivity of two blocks of the district, Bikothi and Banmankhi, has been disrupted.
