Auspicious work is not done in Kharmas

According to astrologers, Kharmas is not considered an auspicious period, hence doing any auspicious work is prohibited during this period. It is believed that when the Sun enters Jupiter’s zodiac sign i.e. Pisces or Sagittarius. In such a situation the Guru becomes very weak. In such a situation, it is prohibited to do any kind of auspicious work, because the Guru does not have auspicious effect. This time Kharmas will last for about 30 days. During this period, things like house warming, buying a new vehicle, land, marriage, sacred thread ceremony, Annaprashan ceremony, starting a new work etc. should not be done. It is said that auspicious work done in Kharmas gives inauspicious results.

Do not do this work during Kharmas

During Kharmas, ceremonies like engagement, tilak, daughter’s farewell etc. are prohibited. According to Hindu religion, it is believed that doing this during Kharmas brings obstacles in marital life. New business should not be started during Kharmas. Because by doing this one has to face many problems in the new work. Griha Pravesh is not done during Kharmas. If you enter the house then there is a defect in the house. During Kharmas, programs like Mundan, Janeu are prohibited.

Do this work during Kharmas

During Kharmas one should take bath in Ganga or other holy river. This leads to the attainment of virtue. Arghya should be offered to Sun God daily during Kharmas. For Arghya, put water, vermilion, red flowers and Akshat in a copper pot. Chanting, penance and charity also have special significance during Malmas. By doing such things one gets relief from all kinds of problems. One should definitely visit the pilgrimage site once in Kharmas. During Kharmas, one should serve and honor cows, Brahmins etc., this brings virtue.

There will be no weddings in May and June

The year 2024 has started. This year is going to be good in terms of weddings. After 24 years, there will not be a single day of marriage auspicious time in May and June, this is due to the setting of Venus in both the months. Marriage auspicious times will start in July itself after Venus rises.
