Meanwhile, some youths came running and took down the snatcher. Took it away with us. These youths are also considered to be members of the snatching gang.

In Bihar, members of snatching gangs target railway passengers. Many times, these snatchers make the passengers sitting inside the train standing at the station their prey, and sometimes when the train opens, they snatch the belongings of the passengers sitting inside and run away. Victim passengers in a moving train are helpless and it is difficult to catch the snatcher. But many such incidents have come to light in which the snatcher is caught. Something similar happened in a train leaving from Bhagalpur.
The snatcher was hanged from the train window
A video is going viral on social media. It is being estimated that it is around Bhagalpur Junction. However, Bhagalpur GRP is denying any such incident. It is seen in the video that after it left the station, the passengers sitting inside the train caught a snatcher. It is being told about the video that a female passenger was calling somewhere from her mobile. She was unaware that the snatcher had put her on his radar and was going to snatch her mobile. Unperturbed by any untoward incident, the female passenger was talking on the phone. During this time the snatcher tried to snatch the mobile but he could not succeed. The passengers sitting inside the train held his hand. The train kept moving and the snatcher remained hanging from the window of the train on one hand.
The snatcher was rescued and taken away by his companions.
One hand of the snatcher was held by the passengers sitting inside the train. Other passengers also kept beating him. Sometimes he talked about losing his hand and sometimes about losing his life and kept pleading the passengers to leave him. When the train moved for some distance, three to four youths reached the boy and started rescuing him. The passengers also left the snatcher thinking they were local people. The said youth took the snatcher along with him.

The snatcher who was trying to escape after snatching a mobile phone from a passenger was caught in the train and was hanged from the window of the coach. The snatcher was beaten brutally. Its video had gone viral. A similar incident had also happened on the Begusarai route when the snatcher was caught by the passengers and hanged from the window.

RPF Inspector Bhagalpur, Randhir Kumar said that there is no information about any such incident in or around Bhagalpur station. If there was any such information, it would have been known immediately.
