This time a cement platform has been made to erect Ravana, Meghnath and Kumbhakarna and the effigy will be erected with the help of nuts and bolts. Ravana’s face is being prepared from fiber. Green crackers are being set inside it.
Fireworks will last for 15 to 20 minutes
Committee member Prince Kumar Raju said that there will be fireworks for about 15 to 20 minutes during the burning of the effigy. Green crackers do not contain harmful chemicals like commonly used polluting chemicals like aluminium, barium, potassium nitrate and carbon. The chemicals added to green crackers are less harmful. These firecrackers are also very small in size. their voice is also low
The tableau will be taken out from 2 o’clock
Jointly with the Spiritual Satsang Committee, there will also be a group recitation of Sunderkand at Senaga Baba Thakurbari at 12 o’clock on the day before the function. After Sunderkand recitation, a tableau will be taken out from Thakurbari along with the monkey army. The tableau will be taken out at 2 o’clock in the day, which will leave from Naga Baba Thakurbari and reach Gandhi Maidan at 4:50 pm via Nala Road, Arya Kumar Road, Machhuatoli, Bari Path, Bakarganj, Reserve Bank. Then Ravana slaughter will be organised.
First the procession will take place, then Shri Ram will kill Ravana.
Tableau of Ram Laxman and the Monkey Army After reaching Gandhi Maidan, there will be three parikrama of the procession. After the parikrama, the chief guest will perform the aarti of Ram Laxman. After Hanuman ji frees Mother Sita from Ashok Vatika, Lanka will be burnt. Prabhu Shri Ram Kumbhakarna, Meghnad and Ravana. Will kill. This year, attractive and picturesque arrangements of colorful fireworks have been made to serve the spectators of Ravana Dahan. Ravana Dahan will be live telecasted on Facebook. Governor will inaugurate, CM will be the chief guest
Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar will inaugurate the ceremony. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will be present as the chief guest and Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav along with Minister Vijay Chaudhary, Congress State President Akhilesh Prasad Singh will be present as the special guest. Ravana Dahan ceremony will start at five in the evening.
Officers will remain ready until the crowd leaves
DM Dr. Chandrashekhar Singh and SSP Rajeev Mishra gave necessary instructions while holding a joint briefing with the officials at the venue of the program on Sunday regarding the preparations for security arrangements, crowd management etc. at Gandhi Maidan for the ‘Ravan Vadh’ program to be held on 24th October. The DM said that the deputed magistrate, police officers and police force should not leave their place till the crowd remains at Gandhi Maidan. All gates are to be kept open at the end of the program. For the gate to open completely, the gate has to be maintained properly. He has given instructions to keep the traffic smooth for a distance of 500 meters around Gandhi Maidan.
DM-SSP said that the entire program will be monitored from the Integrated Command and Control Center building. Apart from 88 magistrates and police officers, adequate number of police forces have been deputed at 49 places in four sectors. The entire activity will be monitored through 91 CCTVs. Police and civil defense personnel will be deployed with dragon lights and mics at 10 watch towers. DM said that Ravana killing program is being organized at 16 places in the entire district including Gandhi Maidan.
Will be able to go inside only after investigation
During the program, all people will be allowed to enter after checking. There will be special arrangements for examination of women. A temporary police station was set up at Gandhi Maidan. Police bike squad will keep an eye on anti-social elements. ADM and DSP have been placed in charge of the sector. Eight magistrates will be reserved in the district control room and six in the Gandhi Maidan control room. Police officials led by eight magistrates and police force will be deployed at the barricading gangway and two IT officers will be deployed in the CCTV control room. Three quick response teams will take action on emergency information. There will be a provision of 136 LED metal lights, 112 pole lights and 15 high mast lights from 35 light towers around Gandhi Maidan. On the occasion, Municipal Commissioner Animesh Kumar Parashar, City SP Madhya Vaibhav Sharma, Patna Sadar SDO Shrikant Kundlik Khandekar and members of Shri Dussehra Committee Trust were present.
