The women of the tribal community on Thursday worshiped with traditional rituals at the Sarna site near Dhumkudiya Bhawan located at Karmtoli Chowk in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, and prayed for the early release of former CM Hemant Soren. He said that Hemant Soren has been sent to jail by the Central Government with the help of investigating agencies after implicating him in a false and baseless case. Let us tell you that on January 31, the ED team had arrested him after a long interrogation in the money laundering case related to the land scam. On one hand, puja is being done at Sarna place for the release of former Jharkhand CM Hemant Soren, while on the other hand, JMM’s protest against BJP and ED continues. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had arrested the then Chief Minister of Jharkhand Hemant Soren on January 31 after interrogation that lasted for more than seven hours. This is the first incident in the country of a politician being arrested on charges of money laundering while holding the post of Chief Minister. Before his arrest, Hemant Soren had also lodged an FIR against ED officials based in Ranchi under the SC/ST Act. For the early release of former Jharkhand CM and JMM working president Hemant Soren, women of the tribal community, wearing traditional clothes, reached Sarna Sthal near Dhumkudiya Bhawan in Karamtoli, Ranchi and worshiped. He said that the Central Government has conspired and sent him to jail. He has prayed for his early release, acquittal from the cases and safe return home. On one hand, while the tribal community is worshiping for Hemant Soren, on the other hand, JMM is registering a protest by fasting. JMM workers fasted in front of Bapu Vatika in Morhabadi, Ranchi against BJP and Enforcement Directorate.
