After the video surfaced, the police station officer is being condemned everywhere. It is seen in the video that the police station officer is continuously beating a woman with baton. The woman is retreating but the police officers are hitting her with baton after baton. This video has now escalated the matter. By sharing this video, BJP leaders have raised questions on the attitude of the police administration. Through this, the government has also been targeted. Here, after the video went viral, Sitamarhi Police Captain has now taken action against SHO Rajkishore Singh. Rajkishore Singh has been removed from the post of SHO of Sursand police station. While present on the line, SDPO has been ordered to investigate.

It has been told that a boy and a girl from Pathanpura Panchayat of Sursand block had recently eloped due to love affair. Both are from two villages. FIRs were also lodged by both the parties against each other. Last day the girl’s family had recovered her and brought her home. Then the boy also returned home. One person was also arrested in the case. The girl had volunteered to go with the boy. Meanwhile, news has been received that on 27 December 23, both the parties had reached Sursand police station. The people from the girl’s side were trying to beat the boy’s side. During this time a crowd had gathered outside the police station. The four-wheeler of the boy and the girl’s side was also partially damaged. To prevent the dispute between the two parties from escalating and any untoward incident, the police station incharge beat a woman with baton. The crowd dispersed and the dispute did not escalate further, but the said police officer has gone viral by using batons in an inhuman manner.

Pupri SDPO Vinod Kumar said that a case of kidnapping of a girl was registered last day. The police had recovered the girl. Recently, people from both sides, boy and girl, gathered outside the police station. There was a dispute between both the parties. Law and order problems had arisen due to the crowd.
