VIDEO: Tata Motors is going to bring Punch EV, know how the SUV will be

Tata Motors is the milestone of affordable car in India. It is a miracle of Tata that the record of making luxury cars like Lakhtakia Nano to Tata Punch in the country’s car market is registered in the name of this company. The news is that after launching the CNG version of Punch along with Tiago and Tigor in the beginning of August, Tata Motors is now preparing to launch the electric version of Punch in the market. If media reports are to be believed, Tata Motors may launch the electric version of Punch in the market in November 2023. According to a report by English newspaper The Mint, Tata Motors may launch Punch EV by the end of this year. The report says that the automaker may announce Tata Punch EV in November 2023.

It has been said in the report that body panels, alloy wheels, design etc. in Tata Punch EV can be similar to its earlier Punch. However, to differentiate the Punch EV from the earlier CNG and petrol versions, Tata Motors may add an EV badge to it. Using the Alfa platform, the automaker will not need to make drastic changes to differentiate the electric version.

Now if we talk about the features of Punch EV, then like the gasoline-powered Punch CNG, a seven-inch touch screen infotainment system, electric sunroof, two spoke steering wheels can be given in this luxury vehicle. Notably, the center of the design could be the console, wherein the conventional gear lever could be replaced with a rotary drive one. Also, in the recent past, spy shots taken from 360-degree cameras indicate a possible inclusion.
