Video: Sangam Ghat of Jehanabad illuminated with the light of lamps, 5000 lamps were lit simultaneously

Dev Deepotsav is being celebrated with full faith in Jehanabad. During this time, lamps are being lit at the ghats of the river and the ghats of the pond, as well as at the doors of the house. Considering the special religious importance of Dev Deepotsav, people lit lamps to bring happiness in their homes. Temples were also decorated in the evening. Deepotsav program was also organized on Saturday at the ghat of Dardha-Yamuna Sangam in the city under the joint aegis of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and local people. In the program, people lit thousands of earthen lamps at Sangam Ghat and wished Diwali to the city residents. The entire Sangam Ghat lit up with the Deepotsav organized at the Sangam Ghat in Thakurbari. Everyone was requested to celebrate Diwali with happiness, peace and harmony in the district. The festival of lights was organized when Lord Shri Ram returned to Ayodhya after 14 years of exile. Lord Shri Ram returned to Ayodhya after killing Ravana. Deepotsav was celebrated in this happiness. Every year, Deepotsav is organized on the banks of Sangam to mark the joy of Lord Shri Ram’s return to Ayodhya. People from urban and rural areas of the district had come to the Deepotsav and were congratulating the people on Diwali by lighting lamps. Apart from the Vidyarthi Parishad workers, a large number of local people were present in the Deepotsav.
